KAMALA HARRIS BARKS BACK AT PROTESTERS WHO STOPPED HER CAMPAIGN SPEECH WITH SHOUTS OF ‘GENOCIDE’
“KAMALA! KAMALA! YOU CAN’T HIDE, WE WON’T VOTE FOR GENOCIDE!”

Protesters chanting “genocide” interrupted US presidential candidate Kamala Harris during a campaign speech outside Detroit on Wednesday. “Kamala, Kamala, you can’t hide, we won’t vote for genocide,” pro-Palestinian protesters chanted, referring to Israel's alleged genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
At first, a majority of the crowd silenced the protesters by drowning them with a chant of their own: "Ka-Ma-La! Ka-Ma-La!," they shouted over the protesters.
After a few moments the crowd quieted, and Harris started speaking again. The protesters started chanting again too. They were loud enough to throw the vice-president off her beat. The crowd re-started their "Ka-Ma-La" chant.
The vice president responded gracefully: "It's all good,' she said with a smile. "It's all good." “I am here because I believe in democracy and everybody’s voice matters," Harris said, attempting to subtly silence the demonstrators by acknowledging them. “I am speaking now."
That brought another long, rousing cheer from the crowd that temporarily silenced the protesters. Once again, Harris re-started her speech and the protesters re-started again too. Once again, they were loud enough to be heard.
This time Harris changed her tune from sweet to peeved and flustered. She stopped her speech, held up her hands and gestured toward the group of protesters. "You know what? If you want Donald Trump to win, then say that,” Harris chided. “Otherwise, I’m speaking.”
That ignited another rousing cheer from a majority of the auidence as Harris started down her opponents in the back of the audience for half-a-minute.
After the long cheer, the crowd began another chant, this one referring to Donald Trump's presidency from 2016 to 2020. “We’re not going back!," the Michigan crowd chanted. "We’re not going back!”
"And I got yours," Harris said, smile returned to her face. Security removed the protesters from the rally.
